What Are Industrial Jobs?

Industrial jobs can be a full-time and long-term position - however, many industrial jobs are temp jobs. These are jobs where you travel to a location to work for a set period of time before going home. These can be great for beginners to earn good money and gain experience for higher-skilled positions. Do Industrial Jobs Require Experience?
There are some jobs that require experience and some that do not - however, entry-level jobs in manufacturing typically have a lower requirement for experience and education than other skilled-trades or engineering positions.
Generally speaking, most entry-level and/or temp jobs will not require experience. Experience is a “nice to have” to get a leg up over other applicants, but if you are applying for entry-level industrial jobs for the first time, there are many that don’t require experience.
Typically, you will just need to meet the duties of an industrial job - which are often the ability to read instructions, the ability to lift up to a certain weight, the ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, and the ability to work required hours.
In terms of education - you typically only need a high school diploma or GED for most industrial jobs. In some cases, you may be able to get an industrial job without any degree.
Industrial jobs that are more specialized will require a degree and certifications. You can tell if a job is more specialized because that will be listed in the job requirements.
