Even when you work at another company, Strom is your employer. We’re the team that handles your paycheck, per diem, onboarding, and the paperwork that keeps everything running. We’ll be there for you (actually right there on the project with you in most cases), for anything work-related you need to perform safely and effectively.
3. Stay in Contact With Your Project Manager
Your project manager is your point of contact for everything. They will be deployed on the project with you, and will be your go-to for any and all questions and concerns. If something changes or feels unclear, reach out. We recognize that our success as a company depends on your success as an employee.
4. We Stand Up For You
Sometimes things outside your control make the job harder. If you feel you have not been given proper direction or training, talk to your Project Manager immediately. Never take on a task you are not comfortable with. Your safety, and the safety of every employee, is Strom’s #1 concern, and we will stand up for you to ensure you are adequately trained and capable of performing your job duties.
5. If You Don’t Hear Back Right Away, It’s Ok
If you’re in the system but haven’t heard about a job yet, it usually means we don’t have the right match at the moment. A recruiter will contact you as soon as something fits your skills.
You’re welcome to call and ask about openings, but calling every day won’t make jobs appear faster. Know that you’re still on our mind, and we want to place you as soon as the right opening comes in.
