- Production Fabrication - Cutting and creating parts. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Machine Operation - Operating standard manufacturing machines. Does not require a degree. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Pipe-Fitting - Installs, assembles and fabricates pipes. Degree from a trade school usually required.
- Maintenance (Facility & Industrial-Mechanical) - Services and maintenance of machines and some equipment. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Electrical Maintenance - Ensures electrical equipment is in working order. Degree from a trade school usually required.
- Industrial Painting - Cleaning and painting of industrial buildings and equipment. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Assembly - Assembles parts, typically on a manufacturing line. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Packaging - Places and seals finished products into containers for shipping. On-the-job training is usually provided.
- Material Handling - Transports items throughout a warehouse or into a transport vehicle. On-the-job training is usually provided.
