When you bring in temporary workers, you want the process to run smoothly. Strom helps to make that happen. Here’s what you can expect from us — and what we need from you — so that every placement succeeds.
When you request workers, you’re not getting “whoever was available.” You’re getting someone appropriately skilled who has already proven they can work safely, show up reliably, and handle similar environments.
Experience. Work history. Attitude. Reliability. We send people who care about doing the job well. People who help keep your line moving and your schedule on track. We also handle drug screening and background checks, so you can fully trust that employees have been thoroughly vetted.
We don’t just hire warm bodies. We source talented and experienced people who are able to meet or exceed your performance goals. Our employees are carefully selected to provide the exact skills needed for your roles. We don’t just send the first person in our database; we send the right person.
If you have any concerns, Strom’s assigned Project Manager will step in. If it is determined an employee is not the right fit, we replace them. We don’t wait to problem-solve until after the assignment is done. We proactively address any issues during the engagement and work with you to course-correct.
Our employees are fully employed by Strom. This means that the only things you need to handle are your standard training and orientation, and day-to-day work direction. We fully handle payroll, onboarding, benefits, transportation, conduct or performance issues, and disbandment.
Our goal is for a successful engagement for everyone: for our workers, for your business, and for your current employees. In order to do that, we do ask a few things of our clients.
Strom handles all the vetting and onboarding paperwork before the team arrives, but further steps must be taken before work can begin. Make sure to have all the necessary tools, equipment, and resources available for the influx of personnel. Orientation and safety training will be critical to getting the project started, so be prepared to cover these areas immediately. Communicate with your internal teams (HR, IT, Operations, etc.) so that you don’t encounter any surprises after the team arrives.
Assign a point of contact, show the team where to go, and explain job duties.. Strom’s Project Manager will help ensure the team understands all direction, especially safety programs and critical operating procedures.
Even the most seasoned worker needs to learn your facility, processes, and safety programs. A friendly introduction and clear direction make a world of difference.
Even though our employees are experienced, any time you introduce a new team member to your environment, there’s likely to be some challenges as they familiarize themselves with your procedures. Initial bumps are normal. However, if the job changes, if you need different skills, or if something isn’t working on the floor: tell us. The sooner we know, the faster we can fix it.
You want steady production, safe operations, and dependable people. Strom wants to supply you with workers who support that. When both sides communicate and stay aligned, temporary staffing works exactly the way it should: smooth, stable, and predictable.
Tell us what you need and we’ll send qualified people who fit your operation.
